WHAT DO WE OFFER AT GREENSTONE HOLISTIC HEALTH?
Your first session is primarily for a thorough evaluation that will provide the template to guide the forthcoming therapeutic intervention.
Treatment sessions are 55 minutes long and are personalised. They may include manual therapy, mobilisation and manipulation, classical Pilates, Feldenkrais, and/or Intelligent Movement-based somatic education. They may also include a home-based program with guided practice, therapeutic exercises, or movements.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment time to enable you to complete a personal information and medical history form before your therapy session begins.
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and allows the therapist ease of access to the site of your injury. Clothing that one might wear to yoga, gym, or tai chi class is an example. Generally, removal of clothing is only necessary when therapeutic and support taping of an injury site is considered helpful.
- Bring orthotics if you usually wear them
- Bring with you relevant imaging and reports such as MRIs, X-rays, and/or CT scan.

- Initial Appointment $180
- Follow up Appointment $150
- Lymphedema Appointment Initial $200
- Pre Point Ballet Assessment $180
- Pediatric Appointment (30mins) $100
Some sessions require longer than 55 minutes. If a complex case requires extra time, the fee will reflect the time spent.
DO HEALTH FUND REBATES APPLY?
Yes. Some health funds provide a rebate for Physiotherapy but it is best to confirm your level of cover with your health insurer. Health fund claims can be processed electronically at the time of payment.
DOES MEDICARE PROVIDE COVER FOR PHYSIOTHERAPY
A Medicare rebate is available for a limited number of physiotherapy sessions pre-approved by a General Practitioner. The Medicare Enhanced Primary Care referral should be discussed with your doctor.
HOW LONG ARE YOUR SESSIONS?
Appointments are 55 minutes duration unless the therapist requests or agrees to a shorter or longer session at the time you make the appointment. To make an appointment or if need to discuss your needs with Wendy, please contact her at 0482 423 371.
DO I REQUIRE A REFERRAL?
Patients who are self-funded or who have private health cover do not require a medical referral. Department of Veteran’s Affairs funded patients do need a doctor’s referral. A Medicare rebate is available for patients who have an Enhanced Primary Care Plan and a referral from a G.P.
DO YOU OFFER TELEHEALTH?
It is possible to have telehealth consultations if required. This would involve a Zoom or Facetime consultation. This may be utilised for a consultation, a follow-up home program review and progression of exercises, Feldenkrais, or a remote Biofield Tuning session. Please contact Wendy directly to set up a telehealth appointment.
DO YOU PROVIDE PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICES FOR NDIS PARTICIPANTS?
Yes, I do provide physiotherapy to NDIS participants.
Self-managed participants are free to choose their own therapist. For agency-managed participants, care coordinators or plan managers can arrange a service agreement.
